Client: working as a Team Leader in the Connected Learning team
Brief: Address student retention and engagement issues using the the transformation of the Universities traditional 12 week model into a blended 4 week Block. The block is a pioneering first in Australia now being investigated and implemented across the higher education sector.
Solution: Providing a combination of Learning Design processes, resource & curriculum development, LMS integration and project management skills in collaboration with Academics, Learning Designers, Library Services and 'Student as Staff' trainees.
International English Training 2015
Client: RMIT Training/English Worlwide
Brief: Design online training solutions using Articulate for SCORM learning object creation, configuring and administering the Moodle LMS for course delivery and providing guidance in strategic project management and workflow processes for eLearning resource creation.
Solution: Upgrade personal knowledge of Moodle LMS as an administrator and provide workflow advice, professional development and process documentation for online resource development.
Academic Support and Training 2014
Client: Victoria University
Brief: Design and deliver training in the Desire2Learn LMS and provide pedagogical and technical support to academic staff for blended learning delivery.
Solution: Upgrade personal knowledge of D2L LMS by developing exemplar course examples, tools, assessment and activity integration and present training sessions to the various colleges of the university.
Introduction to Visual Communication 2012-13
Client: Northern Territory Open Education Centre.
Brief: To design and develop a middle years (Year 10) course that engages students in the appreciation of visual design and provides engaging activities to explore design principles
Solution: Research the subject area broadly considering the needs of mainstream and remote students and the flexible delivery environment whilst meeting the criteria of the National Australian Curriculum. Use Adobe Captivate, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Illustrator to make a web based training resource hosted on the Moodle LMS.
